Terms and ConditionsBooking & Reservations Procedures: Air France Holidays requires a credit card number and billing address to request a reservation. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you agree and authorize Air France Holidays to charge your credit card for the full amount of your booking. You agree to waive any charge back rights. The credit card holder must be one of the passengers. Any other person or entity (including a travel agent) that receives monies from participant does so strictly as an agent of the participant.
Full payment is required upon confirmation for bookings including air. This will protect the booking from price changes due to airfare increases, fuel surcharge increases and tax increases.
Please note that when booking online, flights and hotel are on a request basis, and can take 24 business hours to confirm, please supply alternate dates if you have any. If the requested hotel cannot be confirmed, a comparable alternate will be booked and you will have until 2pm the next day to cancel without penalty. If the alternate is not cancelled, deposit will be posted and penalties will apply - see cancellation fees.
Land only reservations require a $300 per person non-refundable deposit which will be charged upon confirmation. Final payment will be automatically charged to the credit card on file 60 days prior to departure. As above, if the requested hotel cannot be confirmed, a comparable alternate will be reserved. You will have until 2pm the next day to cancel without penalty. If the alternate hotel is not cancelled, deposit will be posted and penalties will apply.
If Air France Holidays is unable to charge the required payment to the credit card provided, the reservation will automatically cancel and cancellation penalties will apply. Tender of payments to Air France Holidays constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Fees: All bookings will be assessed a $12 processing fee. Bookings made, or payments received within 7 days of departure from the U.S., will be assessed an additional $20 fee. These fees are non-refundable.
Cancellation Fees:
$50 pp once reservation is requested.
$300 pp plus supplier fees once full payment is charged
Non-refundable for any cancellation made within 7 days of departure.
**Certain packages and promotions are completely non-refundable at the time of booking.
In addition to the above the following penalties apply: Rail passes and open rail tickets are subject to a 15-50% cancellation fee. The following are purchased by Air France Holidays and incur non-refundable supplier fees: airline tickets, car rentals, barges, escorted tours, seat reservations, sleepers, couchettes, specialty night trains, Eurostar, theatre tickets, transfers, confirmed sightseeing, travel insurance, and the following hotels: reserved bed & breakfast properties, Relais du Silence Hotels, chateaux, castles, Paradores, mansions, and reserved Minotel. Open vouchers programs, which include open sightseeing, Circle Group, Best Western, Minotel and open B&B vouchers will incur a $50 fee per booking on all returned unused open vouchers. Documents must be received within 30 days from travel to qualify for a refund. All pre-booked voucher accommodations are non-refundable.
Change Fees:
Change fees are $50 per person plus supplier fees.
Early Check-Out from Hotels: Refunds for early check-outs are subject to a minimum charge of one night's hotel stay plus $50 per booking administrative fee. In the event of early check-out from a hotel, it is the passenger's responsibility to secure a note from the hotel manager with date and time of check out. No refunds will be given without such verification. Any hotel changes while in Europe must be handled through our Europe office.
Refunds: Notice for refund requests must be forwarded to Air France Holidays by registered mail no later than 30 days from completion of the trip. All unused documents should be returned with the request. After this time no refunds, however valid, will be considered. Reservations cancelled directly with a hotel or another supplier do not qualify for a refund. There are no refunds for packages designated as non-refundable. Please allow 4-6 weeks for refund processing.
Hotels: Space is subject to availability. Rooms are assigned on a run-of-the-house basis by hotel management upon check in. Single rooms are usually smaller in size than twins or doubles and have one small bed. Triples are usually a standard twin/double plus a rollaway or sofa bed. While a hotel normally may offer a particular feature such as air conditioning, Air France Holidays cannot guarantee that the service will be in operation at any given time and cannot be held responsible for any such lack of operation at the time of stay.
Hotel classifications are based on Air France Holidays assessment and may not reflect opinions of other sources. Any service issues affecting the quality of a guest's hotel stay must be addressed directly with hotel management.
Prices: Air France Holidays reserves the right to adjust prices according to exchange rate fluctuations or any increase in vendor rates. Once full payment is received, Air France Holidays will not pass on increases in government imposed taxes and airline imposed surcharges. Air prices and air inclusive package prices are subject to change without notice until booking is paid in full. The following items are not included in the package price: Any items of a personal nature including but not limited to: phone calls, tips, laundry, beverages, meals not stated, taxi and bus fares, passport and visa fees, local car rental taxes and other location-related fees.
Passports/Visas: It is the sole responsibility of each passenger to obtain the necessary documents, such as passports and visas, for travel. Visa requirements do change without notice and vary by nationality. Please check with the consulate office of the destination country as to visa requirements.
Responsibility: Air France Holidays is operated by EEFC, Inc. (hereafter known as the Operator). The Operator and its affiliates are not responsible for any acts and / or omissions of suppliers, their employees, agents or representatives. The Operator, its agents, officers and/or suppliers of services pursuant to, or in connection with these itineraries, is acting only as agent for the companies, corporations or person providing or offering travel services of any means, or in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, restaurants, or any other service, and does not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an act of negligence or default of, any hotel, carrier, restaurant, company or person rendering any of the services included in the tour, or by act of God. Further, no responsibilities are accepted for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather or other causes beyond Operator's control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omissions, delays, re-routing or acts of any government or authority. The airlines concerned are not responsible for any act, omission, or event, at any time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyance. The passage contract in use by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of these tours and/or passenger. The right is reserved to withdraw any program in this folder and/or make such changes in the program(s) as may be found desirable for the convenience of the parties and the proper carrying out of tour(s). The booking confirmation and these Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement between Air France Holidays and all passengers. You confirm that you have not entered into this contract with Air France Holidays on the basis of any representation not expressly incorporated into these documents. The sole and exclusive forum for any legal claims you may make against Air France Holidays shall be the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington in Seattle.
